Dear Friend,

President Trump’s recent firings of the director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and commissioners on the Federal Trade Commission are major mistakes and attacks on vital consumer protections in America. They should be reversed.

Americans are badly squeezed by higher prices. No one likes feeling ripped off whenever they buy eggs and cereal at the grocery store. I understand that anger and frustration. These agencies play a vital role in lowering costs by going after bad actors that exploit Americans.

Dear Friend,

This Sunday marks the beginning of daylight savings time, which means we set our clocks forward an hour. The practice was formally established through law in 1966 under the Uniform Time Act.

Some Americans support keeping the current rules while others favor eliminating daylight savings time altogether. How do you feel? Take my survey below!

Sincerely,

Nellie Pou

Dear Friend,

There are news reports that the Trump administration is planning to make drastic changes to the United States Postal Service that threaten the future status of your Post Office.

According to the Washington Post, Donald Trump will issue an executive order firing the entire Postal Board of Governors and then ending the Postal Service as an independent body.
