This is Congresswoman Nellie Pou writing to you about my recent visit to Lodi to present $1,031,000 in federal funding to equip our first responders with new emergency communications radios.

Lodi first responders requested this funding because their current radios are well past their useful life and are no longer supported by manufacturers. In an emergency, reliable communication is not optional. It is the foundation of coordinated response.
