Dear Friend,

This is Congresswoman Nellie Pou. I was proud to visit Cliffside Park this morning to announce $1,092,000 in federal funding to strengthen the town’s water infrastructure.

Working with Mayor Thomas Calabrese, the Borough Council, and local officials, my office secured these funds to help replace broken sanitary pipes and improve the borough’s stormwater system.

So far, at least six American servicemembers have been killed. I am hoping and praying for our brave military personnel, the people of Iran and all innocent people impacted by this violent conflict.

Dear Friend,

This is Congresswoman Nellie Pou writing to you on a somber anniversary. Today marks four years since Russia launched its unprovoked and illegal invasion of Ukraine.

Four years of war. Four years of destruction. Four years of Ukrainians fighting for their independence, their democracy, and their survival.

Russia started this war. Russia alone is responsible for the violence and suffering that have followed.
