This weekend, the government will stage a large-scale military parade including tanks through the streets of Washington, D.C. The parade is officially marking the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday. It is also being held on Donald Trump’s 79th birthday.

Our firefighters are always there, always standing on the frontlines.  

During the pandemic, they kept our communities safe even as 180 firefighters fell to the virus. And when Hurricane Ida unleashed catastrophic flooding in our communities, our fire heroes donned scuba gear and rescued hundreds of our neighbors.
